滅火器是壓力容器，屬于歐盟CE認證中的PED指令2014/68/EU，該指令是針對壓力設備的安全指令，凡是設計壓力超過0.5bar的設備，無論其壓力、容積為何，均須符合PED指令的規定。

滅火器是一種可攜式滅火工具。滅火器內放置化學物品，用以救滅火災。

滅火器是常見的防火設施之一，存放在公眾場所或可能發生火災的地方，不同種類的滅火器內裝填的成分不一樣，是專為不同的火災起因而設的，我們使用時必須注意，以免產生反效果及引起生命危險。

1.干粉滅火器CE認證EN 615的相關規定:EN 615-2009 防火。滅火介質。滅火粉規范(D級粉除外)

2.推車式滅火器需要符合EN 1866，該標準是針對移動式滅火器的安全規定。

3.EN 3-7:滅火器的性能測試標準;

EN 3-8 :粉和泡沫滅火器CE認證;

EN 3-9:二氧化碳滅火器CE認證;

5.另外二氧化碳滅火器的鋼瓶還需要滿足IS0 9809或者EN 1964的要求。鋁瓶滅火器需要滿足BS 5045的法規要求。

6.滅火器的選擇

在選擇滅火器時應符合下列規定:

6.1、撲救A類火災應選用水型、泡沫、干粉、鹵代烷等滅火器;

6.2、撲救B類火災應選用干粉、泡沫、鹵代烷、二氧化碳等，撲救水溶性B類火災不得選用化學泡沫滅火器;

6.3、撲救C類火災應選用干粉、鹵代烷、二氧化碳型滅火器;

6.4、撲救帶電設備火災應選用鹵代烷、二氧化碳、干粉滅火器;

6.5、撲救A、B、C、類和帶電設備火災應選用干粉、鹵代烷滅火器;

6.6、撲救D類火災應選用專用干粉滅火器。

7.標識

標識一般用印刷的不干膠貼在筒體的外表，標識的檢查主要檢查標識的內容，是否正確完整。標識的檢查內容應該有:

滅火器名稱、型號、

滅火級別、使用溫度范圍、驅動氣體數量和名稱、

制造廠商名稱、滅火器的使用方法等，

認證檢驗機構的代碼，CE標識。
